Secretarial Support

Age Concern Cymru and Help the Aged are now providing extensive secretarial support including the taking and circulation of Executive Committee minutes. Age Concern Cymru also produced all the literature and programmes for the 2009 Annual Conference & Rally. Our thanks in particular for ongoing support to Deborah Boyce and Julie Blunt for all her efforts in minute taking and many other administrative tasks in support of NOAPAW.


Annual Rally 2009

Our annual rally was held on the afternoon of Wednesday 17th June at the Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot. The main entertainment was by the Pencoed Players (pictured), returning by popular request, and was a great success.

Our Annual Conference was held on Wednesday 17th June 2009 at the Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot. Longest married couple

The longest married couple at the Annual Rally on 17th June 2009 were Raymond & Edith Morgan. Married for 67 years.

Oldest Male

There was a tie for the oldest male present at the Rally in Port Talbot 2009. Awards were given to John Rees & William Johns (both pictured).

Alice Davies of Pontardulais pictured here in the centre was the oldest female present at the Annual Rally on 17th June 2009.

Annual Rally Port Talbot

The rally in the afternoon of 17th June 2009 was well attended and the Pencoed Players were gave an outstanding performance. Community singing was also of a high standard thanks to our own Emlyn Williams who directed the singing ably accompanied on the grand piano by Glenys Dowdle.
